To all Gulf Park Swim Team Parents:

In support of our fabulous Gulf Park volunteer coordinator, Christy Ringle, we wish to put out a simple reminder for all of our new "swim team parents" to consider getting involved and helping out as a volunteer at this afternoon's meet, and all meets moving forward...

It truly takes a "SWARM of sharks" to put on these summer swim meets, and without the collective help of every family, it simply cannot be done.  We merely ask that each family provide at least one (1) parent worker for 1/2 of each meet that you attend.  You can be assured that we won't "THROW you to the sharks" and ask you to do something that requires any elaborate training; rather, we are asking that every family contribute a little bit (and we will always start out with EASY jobs) in order to efficiently move through a late afternoon meet.

TODAY, we have the following 2nd half positions that are still needed to be filled:

Clerk of Course (2nd half)

Timer (2nd half)

Runner (2nd half)

Results/Data Entry (2nd half)

Best part is, these are very EASY TO LEARN positions that can be observed and mastered in less than 10 minutes max during the 1st half of today's meet...

In other words, NO SHARK SCHOOL REQUIRED for moms and dads who come forward to volunteer!

We thank you all in advance for actively participating with your children during our summer swim meets, and appreciate all offers to assist when you are "CHOMPING AT THE BIT" to step forward and fill these vacancies as needed at each meet.
