Last call for SMI -

The ABSOLUTE deadline is NOON TOMORROW July 1, 2019 to RSVP to attend Smoky Meet. If your swimmer is not RSVPed by then they CANNOT swim. You can RSVP online athttps://gulfpark.swimtopia.com or email or text Jennifer Manrod. 

TODAY, June 30th  is also the deadline to order SMI t-shirts (none will be available at the meet this year) or pre-order caps ($10 pre-order $15 at event) – just click on ‘shop’ on our swimtopia website)!

As a reminder - Smoky Mountain Invitational (SMI) Swim Meet! SMI is limited to kids who are not current "USA swimmers" (aka year-round swimmers), so it's fantastic chance for your child to compete with other summer swimmers. It's held at Springbrook Pool in Alcoa and is a long but fun day, starting usually at 7am and ending after your last swim (could be after 5pm or later if weather delays).

There is a swimming area with large slide that you can play in if you purchase a wristband. The team rents a large tent for us to hang out together or you are welcome to bring your own tent. Concessions are available or you are welcome to bring your own cooler of food. Our team will also bring breakfast items to share. More details about what to bring and expect will be sent out closer to the date

Day 1 is Saturday 7/13 for 11 & up

Day 2 is Sunday 7/14 for 10 & under

Please RSVP by MONDAY JULY 1 NOON.

*If you are a swimmer with a current USA number as of August 1, 2017 but have not swam in any USA Swimming sanctioned meets since August 1, 2017, you are still eligible for SMI.
