AWAY Meet TONIGHT Reminders
Good morning,
Just wanted to send a reminder about our first AWAY meet TONIGHT. Please read the following information regarding our first away meet of the season, pay close attention to PARKING, Arrival and Warm-Up times AT CONCORD HILLS.
Myself, Jennifer and my husband Matt Manrod will be your Meet Directors. Karen Collins will be your Volunteer Coordinator Check-In.
When: Tuesday, June 29. Please arrive at 5:00. Our warm-ups begin at 5:30. The meet will begin at 6:00.
Theme: Shark Week! Wear your Gulf Park t-shirts or anything shark related for a chance to win a Bruster's Gift Card!
From CONCORD HILLS Meet Director:
Concessions: Concord Hills will be selling concessions. D&B catering is providing hamburger/cheeseburger and hot dog meals which include chips and a drink. The concession stand will also have candy, water, and Gatorade for sale. They accept payment by either cash or card. A Kona Ice Truck will be just outside the pool area which only accepts cash. All sales will have a percentage that benefits our swim team so we invite everyone to “Eat at the Meet.”
Away team seating: Visitor seating is located on the grass hill outside of the entrance gate. We ask that parents bring their own blankets, chairs and/or tents. You might also want BUG SPRAY...
Parking: Our pool is located at 10731 Farragut Hills Blvd. We have very limited parking at our facility and it will be reserved for team officials. We ask that you park on only one side of the adjacent streets and please be sure that you are not blocking a driveway. A map of the subdivision is attached. The pool is in the recreational complex (lower right hand side of the map). The entrance to Concord Hills is from Concord Road — on the bottom left corner of the map.
Meet Details: Our meet is set to begin at 6:00 pm. Concord Hills will warm-up from 5:00-5:30, and our team will have the pool from 5:30-6:00 pm.
We have a Ready Bench with three rows of chairs set up behind the blocks, as well as a Clerk of Course (or sometimes referred to as a “corral”) for 8 & under swimmers located on the patio just outside the pavilion.See you TONIGHT! GO SHARKS!
Jennifer Manrod
