Good Afternoon!

I wanted to first draw your attention to a fun event next week and a little update on our end of the year award party. The following has been added/updated on our website schedule. Please check out the details and sign up to help/bring donations today! More details on our second annual Lap-A-Thon coming soon.

Second I just wanted to thank all of our swimmers, parents and community for such a great season so far. It is so exciting to see the team growing and building this year. We would love to hear from you about volunteer opportunities you might be interested in for the remainder of this season or even next season. There are many things that can be done that we need help with that are short term, don’t require additional time at the pool, and there may be something you enjoy doing anyway 😊.  If every family could help out with even one item, we will be golden for next year.

Attached are details regarding the different areas we need help with for next season, some of which we could still use help with this summer. For July, we could still use help with the following – if you are interested in helping with any of these categories/items let me know and we will get you going ASAP 😊.

Photography and Slideshow Help:

• Help with taking photographs of events, meets and practices
• Help with creating and/or play the end of the season slideshow.
• Help with parents, coaches and instructors regarding needs for photographs/end of the season slideshow.

Social Event Help:

• Help with/or ensuring volunteers are available to help with handing out wrist bands for party participants and/or help accomplish social event agendas and the after-party clean-up
• Help with organizing/soliciting help with one or more of the following social events:
  • Donut Friday’s
  • Shark School end of the season parties
  • End of the season Dive In Awards Party
• For the events above – helping with the organization or helping the following get done:
  • Help with ordering/picking up and/or set up food
  • Help with ordering/picking up and/or set up supplies and decorations.
• For the end of the season banquet/awards party for swim team and/or shark school
  • Help with the ordering/pick up/delivery of trophies
  • Help with the ordering/pick up/delivery of coach/instructor gifts
  • Help with the ordering/creating/printing/organization of certificates

City Meet Merchandise Help.

• Help with inventory and fulfillment of orders
• Help with sales on-site through registrations and through the online store.
• Help with communication in order inspire members to purchase merchandise.
• Help with coordination of vendors/pick up/distribution of the following:
  • Championship (City meet) apparel and caps.
