Hey parents,

In this email I will go over last minute SMI reminders. However, our wonderful meet director, Kimberly Evers, has already sent out a couple of emails about the entire meet. She covers everything! I would highly advise reading those emails before this weekend! Every year SMI is “organized chaos”, so I want y’all to be prepared.

Saturday, July 8th (11 and ups)

-Hawaiian theme

-Arrive: 6:45 am

-Warmups: 7:20 am

-Meet starts at 8:45am

-Make sure to sign your swimmers in on athlete check in

Sunday, July 9th (10 and unders)

-USA theme

Miscellaneous:

-Us coaches will be available during the meet but we may not always be at the tent. Our team contact will serve as the “middleman” if any problems arise!

-I highly discourage swimmers from the “spectator swim”. Although it is fun, we had multiple swimmers miss their races last year because we couldn’t find them in the pool with hundreds of other children. Please consider this before purchasing a spectator swim bracelet!

-I highly advise printing a heat sheet for convenience. Or at least keeping up with it online! No children should miss their race!

-Coaches relay on Sunday! Coach Zack, Creed, Tori, and I will be swimming together at the end of the meet.
