4. HEAT SHEETS - Not available yet.
- Heat Sheets: These will not be available to purchase, so you must print your own if you would like a copy.
5. During the day, what you should do:
- The meet moves quickly, so always be attentive. Announcer is making calls every five minutes. Swimmers should get ready on the first call, make their way to the clerk of course and be in the tent by the 2nd or final call. RELAYS SHOULD ENTER TOGETHER!
- Pay close attention to the announcements.
- Swimmers should stay in our tent if the event they are swimming in is coming up soon.
6. During the day, what your swimmer should do:
- Pay attention to the announcements and the tent parents.
- When their event is called, make their way to the clerk of course staging area.
- After their race, exit the pool deck and head to our coaches tent for a quick chat and then back to our tent.
- Stay in the tent when events are near, and when leaving the tent, be sure the tent parent knows how to find them.
- Swimmers are responsible for getting to Clerk of Course and swimming their event. If they miss, they are scratched and cannot swim in another heat. Heats are full.
- Do NOT leave if your child is in a relay. Free relays are the last events of the day and the most fun! It's not fair to the other swimmers if your child leaves early and the relay is scratched.
- Know the rules of the pool and follow them: No running, stay out of the creek, etc.
What to bring:
Chairs, blankets/tarp, bug spray, sunscreen, things to keep your child occupied while they are not swimming, portable fans, backup chargers for phones, cooler of healthy food, lots of water, etc. There will be concessions to purchase as well. Gulf Park will have a team tent. The tent will be crowded on Sunday. If you would like to bring a tent for more shade at our team tent, that's ok. Please leave space for other teams to walk around the additional tents
