Week 7 Recap
This week at Gulf Park…
Gulf Park Families,
Congrats on a win against University Swim Club! The score was 472 to 233. We had 105 best times, which was a great way to end our regular season! Congratulations are in order for Zola Dragila for breaking the 11-12 girls 50 breaststroke record! This week with our younger swimmers, we worked on our starts and different strokes. Our older swimmers worked on their underwaters and sprinting. It is now officially championship season so it is time to polish our strokes and get ready to swim fast!

Looking Ahead…
Smoky Meet
This weekend is Smoky! We are so excited to watch the kids swim. This evening, be looking on your door for a special delivery for your swimmers!
They are going to be long days, so make sure to bring adequate food, water, and games to stay busy in the team tent. Please help your swimmer get to the clerk of course on time and be listening for announcements in the tent. Also, given the potential for inclement weather in the forcecast, please remmber not to leave unless the meet is canceled and you are directed to. If a confict pops up last minute, make sure to send us an email ASAP. There are time-based deadlines for when the Smoky meet organizers need to know that information.
City Meet RSVP
Lots of people already RSVP’d to City Meet: Thank you! These will close on Tuesday, July 14th. If your swimmer has individual event preferences, please let us know in the comments. We are going to be carefully putting together these entries to ensure that the team and the swimmers are put in the best place possible to swim well.
