It's time to start thinking about the SMOKY MEET INVITATIONAL (SMI)! This year, we will have some games under the tent while you wait for your swims. And tattoos, beads, maybe frisbees....

SMI is limited to kids who are not current "USA swimmers" (aka year-round swimmers), so it's fantastic chance for your child to compete with other summer swimmers. It's held at Springbrook Pool in Alcoa and is a long but fun day, starting usually at 7am (ish) and ending after your last swim. There is a swimming area with large slide that you can play in if you purchase a wristband. The team rents a large tent for us to hang out together or you are welcome to bring your own tent. Concessions are available or you are welcome to bring your own cooler of food. Our team will also bring breakfast items to share. More details about what to bring and expect will be sent out closer to the date

Day 1 is Saturday 7/15 for 11 & up
Day 2 is Sunday 7/16 for 10 & under

Please RSVP for your day by MONDAY JULY 2.

*If you are a swimmer with a current USA number as of August 1, 2016 but have not swam in any USA Swimming sanctioned meets since August 1, 2016, you are still eligible for SMI.

**Exception for 2017 Only - USA swimmers with no Southeastern cuts who swam in a USA Swimming sanctioned meet ONLY BETWEEN MAY 6, 2017 AND MAY 22, 2017 are given an exception and are allowed to swim in the 2017 SMI - you must notify LORI if you are in this exception.
