    FOUR Action Items before EVERY MEET!

    Hello sharks!! You'll be getting another email with specific information about Tuesday's Blue & White meet and Thursday's dual meet with Peninsula Club... but I want to take a moment to tell you about FOUR action items that each family should do before EVERY meet.

    1) RSVP online to let us know YES or NO on who is swimming. If you are coming but have to leave early, PLEASE note it in the comments! Nothing is more heartbreaking than 3 little swimmers who can't find their 4th relay buddy. The deadline for this is usually 2 days before the meet. Click the "RSVP" icon next to the event on our web site - https://gulfpark.swim-team.us. Please please please mark NO if you are not attending (don't just skip it) so that we don't have to bug you to ask.

    2) Sign up for a volunteer job online. We ask that each family work a half of each meet. The Blue & White meet needs more workers since there's no other team to split the jobs with, so please sign up for 2 shifts if at all possible! Click the "V" icon next to the event on our web site - https://gulfpark.swim-team.us/

    3) Watch for an email from the meet director that tells you where the meet is, where to park, what to bring, etc. You'll get these emails from Jennifer and Matt Manrod, our awesome meet directors.

    4) For home meets, consider bringing something to hospitality. Sharks LOVE to eat, so watch for an email requesting food donations. You'll get these emails from Kristi Houk and Stacy Eickman, our awesome hospitality directors.

    One more thing.... our team needs a Volunteer Coordinator! If you have a day job at a computer, this is a great one for you. You'll check to make sure all jobs are filled online for the meets, and then check in the volunteers when they arrive at the meet. I'll train you and be your backup!
